Hello friends! I am so sorry I have been neglecting this blog for so long. I do have a good excuse! Recollection has been so well received by the Houston market and we have been crazy busy all summer long! I am still in shock at how fast everything has happened....unbelievably blessed! Introducing Recollection Vintage Rentals (finally!)

I am so beyond excited to officially reveal our company's logo..........

We have been working like crazy to complete our branding and website (which will be live very soon!), and to photograph our inventory. Here is a sneak peak.......

Signing Party

On Sunday night we celebrated the final step in forming our company! With our familiy and friends we toasted to the beginning of our new company.....Recollection Vintage Rentals!

Here we are with our lawyer, signing the company agreement!

We should have our logo by the end of this week so check back for more details!!

Setting up shop

Over the last few weeks we have been busy bees setting up our studio which will serve as our showroom for most of our inventory (some will not fit!) These pictures were taken with my camera phone, so ignore the poor quality. Just couldn't wait to share!

Psst....I have a secret to share!

I am so incredibly excited to start sharing my good news! I have been MIA for the last weeks (more like months?!) because I have been crazy busy moving back to Houston and starting a new biz!

Can you guess what it is? Yup, that's right........Vintage furniture and prop rentals for events, photo shoots and more! The company is called Recollection and we are still working on our branding, but I couldn't wait to get the word out! We will not have our official launch until sometime in April. Until then, I will keep you posted!

soo.....I saw this movie last night and I cannot get it out of my mind! Did I like it? I don't know.....I think I did. I know I loved the makeup and the allure of the dancers. Natalie Portman was amazing and Mila Kunis is just gorgeous! Any thoughts?

DIY Wool Felt Hand Warmers

Hello my friends! I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful Holiday. I am going to start posting daily again beginning Monday.....(New Years' Resolution!) For now, I wanted to share this adorable DIY project that I think would make the most incredible favor at a cold winter wedding celebration!

The instructions look fairly simple. Basically you purchase bulk hand warmers (from Sams, Target, etc.) and make a cozy pouch for them using felt such as this. For full details and more pics click here :-)

Oh, Hello Friends!

Wow, I cannot believe how long it has been since I updated my little blog. Thank you for continuing to come back and visit, I appreciate your patience! There have been a lot of changes going on in the past few months. My husband and I are going to be moving back to Houston (yay!). It is going to be really hard to leave all of my friends in Fort Smith, but I am really excited about some new business ideas that my mom and I have been brainstorming. I can't give a lot of details now, but we will definitely stay within our passions! A few weeks ago, we finally did our first craft show to display some of our etsy creations, along with some vintage goodies! Here are the pics....enjoy!
