Real Wedding: Texas Chic

I love this wedding. And not just because it took place in Austin (although that definitely scored points with me). I love it because of the unbelievably sweet and charming details. You can see the couple's unique personalities infused into all of the perfect little touches. There are also so many creative DIY ideas. So if you are a bride-to-be, take notes!
This first picture, shot at Hotel St. Cecilia where Amy got dressed, completely rocks. It truly encompasses the hipness of Austin's South Congress Street. The bride wore a handmade crocheted lace gown by Magda Berliner. Her pink shoes are such a sweet touch! The bridesmaids wore their own dresses in pops of color that the bride requested. To pull the look together they all wore cowboys boots. (brilliant!) This next detail has to be my fave. Bays of hay covered with handmade quilts served as the perfect seating for the ceremony. With the help of family and friends the bride hung tons of Martha Stewart poms poms from the ceiling of their venue.
I love that so many details of this wedding were created by family and friends. The bride's friend did all of the flowers and favors were pecans from her sister-in-law's farm.
Ok, and definately a steal-worthy idea. In lieu of a guestbook, the couple set up a photobooth with a chalkboard. Guests were photographed with their hand-written wishes for the bride and groom. What a wonderful idea!
