I am going to be sharing this e-session in further detail on the Recollection blog, but I thought I would post it here as well because I just love it! Recollection was fortunate to work with the most delightful couple and the amazing Laurie Perez! I just love how these pictures capture the most perfect summer rendezvous! I hope you enjoy them :-)

"The Notebook" Inspired Engagement Shoot

I am so in love with this engagement session inspired and styled after the movie The Notebook. I love that movie and think it is incredibly romantic!

We chose the movie The Notebook as inspiration for our engagement photo shoot for a few reasons. For one, Jean-Nicola’s late grandparents had Alzheimer’s disease and this movie touched close to home. Also, the chemistry of the young lovers in the movie was intense! And the era is very alluring to us- the fashion and way of life. We hope that our love endures all that life will throw at us, much like Noah and Allie. (exert from the bride via Green Wedding Shoes)

I discovered Kristin Vining Photography through a very special event that my mother and I created favors for. While reading her blog I came across Kristen and Hunter's unique Ralph Lauren inspired engagement pictures.

We all scream for ice cream!

Nothing says summer like an icy treat on a warm steamy day. Even as a grown woman I still hear the ice cream truck coming down the street and start scrounging for change.

I was flipping through my latest issue of Martha Stewart and was delighted to learn the newest trend on the summer wedding radar: the iconic ice cream truck!

With it's classic treats and nostalgic appeal, an old-fashioned ice cream truck is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!

Also, just as adorable.....the ice cream stand! Server with striped tie=a must!

Dreamy Engagement Session

I can't stop stop thinking about this amazing engagement session that I saw earlier this week on Green Wedding Shows. I am such a sucker for anything vintage and that involves a dog!

The couple brought along a tandem bicycle which really set the mood for the shoot.

The fresh basket of peaches was picked up last minute and created an amazing touch.

And what's an engagement session without an adorable pup?

This couple is just gorgeous! This session looks like it would fit brilliantly inside of an Anthropologie catalog!
