It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I am not going to do much decorating this year, as our rental is so small and we will be in Houston for Christmas, but I was able to help my mom with her lovely home over Thanksgiving! Here are some pictures that I snapped. I wish I would have taken more but she wasn't finished!Here is one of her trees. I love the red and blue ornaments. The vintage Santa is my mom's from her childhood.These bears are so sweet and look especially good with the tinsel treeThey are from our favorite shop which closed over the summer :(

Isn't this the yummiest brown leather sofa? it is a perfect companion for upholstered and vintage furniture. It is one of several classic pieces being sold at Rachel Ashwell's recently re-opened Shabby Chic stores. I can't find the price tag but I am sure its $$$$$$$$$$. Poor little me ;-)

I want to live in this flat

This is my first ever interior design post! I have to say that when it comes to interior decor I suffer from inspiration overload syndrome. I see so many gorgeous ideas and styles that I actually get stressed out thinking about decorating. I am 25 and still trying to hone in on my personal style. At this point I don't really have a "home" to decorate as we are renting but it doesn't stop me from reading all of the amazing design blogs! I love this flat featured on Luphia.
