Here is a simple and adorable DIY gift spotted on BakerellaThe recipe consists of tradition oats, chocolate chips, and pecans but adding the pink m&ms just makes them so fab!

Cultural Details
I love the wedding posted on 100LC this morning. My favorite part....the matryoshka doll favors/escort cards that served as a nod toward's the bride's Russian heritage. They were brought all the way from Russia by her family :-)

Back to (old) School
In light of it being back to school time for most kiddos I thought I would share the most darling little school photos I have ever seen. This is just a small sampling from the incredible portfolio of Mandy Lynne. I love all of the charming vintage elements in her work.
Walking in Memphis
I am back from my little trip to Memphis :-) We had such a fun time. Here are a few pics,

Real Wedding: Texas Chic
I love this wedding. And not just because it took place in Austin (although that definitely scored points with me). I love it because of the unbelievably sweet and charming details. You can see the couple's unique personalities infused into all of the perfect little touches. There are also so many creative DIY ideas. So if you are a bride-to-be, take notes!
This first picture, shot at Hotel St. Cecilia where Amy got dressed, completely rocks. It truly encompasses the hipness of Austin's South Congress Street. The bride wore a handmade crocheted lace gown by Magda Berliner. Her pink shoes are such a sweet touch! The bridesmaids wore their own dresses in pops of color that the bride requested. To pull the look together they all wore cowboys boots. (brilliant!) This next detail has to be my fave. Bays of hay covered with handmade quilts served as the perfect seating for the ceremony. With the help of family and friends the bride hung tons of Martha Stewart poms poms from the ceiling of their venue.
I love that so many details of this wedding were created by family and friends. The bride's friend did all of the flowers and favors were pecans from her sister-in-law's farm.
Ok, and definately a steal-worthy idea. In lieu of a guestbook, the couple set up a photobooth with a chalkboard. Guests were photographed with their hand-written wishes for the bride and groom. What a wonderful idea!

Home Sweet Home!
Sadly, this is not my home, although I would probably give one of my kidneys for it.
I spotted this gorgeous home over at One Boy, One Girl, the wedding blog of photographer Nicole Hill Gerulat. She is a friend of Elizabeth Messina's so obvs. she is fabulous. You should check out her work....seriously.Now back to the gorgeous house......Situated in Palo Alto, CA it was the childhood home of the bride's and served as the perfect venue for her Spring wedding. I think home weddings are the sweetest of all. Of course it helps when you have a home like this. You can see this complete wedding here.
Project Runway Wedding Dress
I am sure you are aware that fashion designer Leanne Marshall was selling her gorgeous designs on etsy long before she won Project Runway in 2008; however, did you know that you can own your very own custom fit Leanne Marshall wedding dress?

Happy Weekend!
Another week has come to an end and I hope it was a fabulous one for all. I love this photo above from TIG. I wish I could morph into Milla Jovovich. Or at least just have that dress.
Inspired by Poppy
"Know, first, who you are; and then adorn yourself accordingly." Epictetus
Just when Coach was seriously starting to bore me with their classic styles and over-popularity, it launches Poppy; a fresh and edgy line of vibrant retro-ish colors, and I am sucked right back in. This new sister line appeals to a younger, more eclectic crowd. I love the patent leather bag in spearmint (top). And a bonus....it's more affordable.

I want to live in this flat
This is my first ever interior design post! I have to say that when it comes to interior decor I suffer from inspiration overload syndrome. I see so many gorgeous ideas and styles that I actually get stressed out thinking about decorating. I am 25 and still trying to hone in on my personal style. At this point I don't really have a "home" to decorate as we are renting but it doesn't stop me from reading all of the amazing design blogs! I love this flat featured on Luphia. Let's take a peek.....
Gorgeous windows, check. White sofas, check (don't know how I will pull this off with a dog who sits wherever she so pleases and kids (one day?) but I have always wanted a glorious white sofa
I love the faded rug. I am sure it is very expensive. Check out the detail in the crown molding
I love all of the natural light in this place. Nothing is worse than a dark home
What a dreamy fireplace
Simply gorgeous. Maybe one day........
