DIY Wool Felt Hand Warmers
Hello my friends! I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful Holiday. I am going to start posting daily again beginning Monday.....(New Years' Resolution!) For now, I wanted to share this adorable DIY project that I think would make the most incredible favor at a cold winter wedding celebration!
The instructions look fairly simple. Basically you purchase bulk hand warmers (from Sams, Target, etc.) and make a cozy pouch for them using felt such as this. For full details and more pics click here :-)

Oh, Hello Friends!
Wow, I cannot believe how long it has been since I updated my little blog. Thank you for continuing to come back and visit, I appreciate your patience! There have been a lot of changes going on in the past few months. My husband and I are going to be moving back to Houston (yay!). It is going to be really hard to leave all of my friends in Fort Smith, but I am really excited about some new business ideas that my mom and I have been brainstorming. I can't give a lot of details now, but we will definitely stay within our passions! A few weeks ago, we finally did our first craft show to display some of our etsy creations, along with some vintage goodies! Here are the pics....enjoy!
Have a great week! Talk to ya soon ;-)

"The Notebook" Inspired Engagement Shoot
I am so in love with this engagement session inspired and styled after the movie The Notebook. I love that movie and think it is incredibly romantic!
We chose the movie The Notebook as inspiration for our engagement photo shoot for a few reasons. For one, Jean-Nicola’s late grandparents had Alzheimer’s disease and this movie touched close to home. Also, the chemistry of the young lovers in the movie was intense! And the era is very alluring to us- the fashion and way of life. We hope that our love endures all that life will throw at us, much like Noah and Allie. (exert from the bride via Green Wedding Shoes)

Barn~Fly
Meet my new drawer. She is vintage with a metal cup pull handle, and is a perfect shade of green. Now you may be wondering what her purpose is.......but I have a plan! I own a cute green chair that has never really had a place. I am going to put my lovely drawer on top and have and instee bedside table for storing books. And if that doesn't work out.....I still have a fabulous drawer I can use as a prop at our upcoming craft shows :-)
oh, and she has a sister.......if anyone is interested!

LBB Loves The Beekman Boys
While visiting my mom and dad last month, I was introduced to their favorite show which has quickly become a guilty pleasure of my own. The Fabulous Beekman Boys on Plant Green! The show spotlights two city boys who leave everything behind to go country. The “Beekman” refers to an old farm near Sharon Springs, N.Y., about 50 miles west of Albany with goats, pigs, llamas, and a beautifully preserved federal style mansion. Aaaah, the life!
The show is great because it spotlights their journey to turn their farm into a sustainable, organic lifestyle and retail business. There goat milk soaps and cheeses look divine and I am hoping to get my hands on some soon! I love watching the dynamics of their relationship as well. Brent's uptight demeanor paired with Josh's laid back attitude makes for some pretty funny television momentsAll in all, the show is cute, stylish and educational. It really makes me want to have a farm someday......with cute goats....that I can pet :-)

Ever since I discovered Willow Nest at the urban market several years ago, I have been dying to get out to their shop in Burton, TX. I finally had the opportunity during my Houston visit last week, and it most definitely did not disappoint! Here are some pictures I took.and for my exciting purchase..........!!!!!!
Two perfectly pink chippy painted wooden folding chairs! I only snapped a shot of one, as the other was already folded up and at the register.
Glad to be back to the blogging world
